Anubhav Singh is a first-year PhD student at the Centre of Transportation Systems (CTRANS), IIT Roorkee. He completed his Master's from CTRANS, IIT Roorkee, working on the same research area, and holds a Bachelor's degree from MANIT Bhopal. His research focuses on schedule optimisation using machine learning, heuristic, and metaheuristic approaches. He has worked with the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) as an intern, engaging with their bus scheduling problem. He is currently working on schedule optimisation using the Proximal Policy Optimisation (PPO) algorithm, formulating the problem as a Markov Decision Process (MDP).
